Late check-in but a rocky stay

We checked in pretty late. the girl at the desk was friendly but seemed a bit new. Unfortunately, the room was far from ideal. it smelled strongly of mold and the floor felt squishy with water, which led to a severe asthma attack for me. It's disappointing that after reporting the issues, there was no follow-up or care shown by the staff. They really need to address the maintenance problems to improve the experience.

The breakfast waffles and biscuits and gravy were surprisingly delicious and set a great start for the day.

There was a significant odor in the non-smoking room, which made for an uncomfortable stay and affected my overall experience.
